Many of them are fellow runners. Many of them are family.
gets more boring? How do you suggest they liven it up?

It's probably attended mainly by family and friends of the runners who have watched how hard they have trained.
Trt have you ever thought that you might need help from some of these charities that people are running for so why say it's boring .
My OH ran it 5 times and the atmosphere is amazing when you are there, far from boring.
It doesn't make for great telly though.
I guess the state broadcaster has to do something with all the commenting 'talent' it keeps on the books since about all else it has to cover is the odd snooker match and second string football dressed up as the real thing.
I rarely watch it but am sure I would if I had any involvement with any of the runners.
Medals for some of the fun runners just being handed out by William Harry and Kate, they look delighted
sorry didn't realise there was another post on this.
I don't find it boring, they are all heroes and heroines in my eyes,
Not great TV though, is it?
Not for those taking part, it doesn't.

I didn't Tilly, that's my point, and my opinion, so there!
Boring? No, never. I have great admiration for every one of the runners, and I think its great television..
It doesn't bore me, I quite like watching it. There are some very brave people who run, for some very worthy causes.
trt, why do you bother posting about something you don't watch?
there's a Star Trek channel on Sky at the moment, you could watch interplanetary warfare instead, much more exciting.
Agree with the watching it on telly bit, can't imagine anything more boring to watch (apart from cricket I suppose!) so therefore I don't.

As for going to watch it, no, that's not for me either. Sure it's a different matter if you've got a family member or friend doing it I guess.

Hi trt, there's some tragic and emotional stories behind why most run for a cause. I don't think it's boring, I think it's quite moving to see young and old making a difference x
