Since watching the dreaded Jeremy Kyle over the past couple of days, what are the worst chavviest names that so called parents call their children? I have to start off with Jayden and Kayden...

There is, or was, a pub in Richmond N Yorks called the Bishop Blaise.
probably took name from the saint Jackdaw 33
Back to OP (sorry). 'Ethan' was always associated (in schools in which I taught) with a problematical child. I pleaded with my daughter not to call my grandson 'Ethan', but her husband won. :(

Guess what? He is a big problem in school, only 6 yrs. old and up before the Head for biting another pupil - would you believe? Stomps off saying 'I hate rules'. I think that if they had called him James, Charles, almost anything else, things might have been easier!
Being a teacher or ex-teacher is always a problem, names carry unfortunate memories, I never taught an intelligent Wayne for example.
That's self fulfilling prophecy though.
I have heard of a girl named La-a

It is pronounced Ladasha, ie you pronounce the punctuation! What The Funicular!!!!!!!
Is that la as in 'lager', or la as in 'laddish'?
How about Dick Khunt (maori) & Juanca (spain)...I hate addressing them
Have to add what these kids would think of our assumed names on this site!
I find Karen very chavvy. :-)
You know how to make your life hard Melv.
Has anyone considered that these are not just children's names?

They will grow up and may be your bank manager or surgeon one day ;-)
First time I looked at this thread - so I was reading page one and saw Mamya mention Tyler. On the radio once I heard someone say - Watt Tyler - a fifteenth century kitchen fitter Which guide!
And the sad thing is my parents didn't even name me. I was named by a midwife!!!
I had plenty grief too, born 1953 - Mum's name - Vera and she named me Lynne.

Swore it had nothing to do with the lovely lady. hmmmm
Lucky she wasn't a fan of Lady Gaga:-)
True, she's a bit of a mouthful.
i dont have an issue with the names themselves, most of them are perfectly nice sounding words - but some do conjure up preconceived ideas of who and what the parents are.
This doesn't mean the names themselves are bad - just that they 'seem' to be of a certain 'type' of person - we all know chavs exist and they have to name their kids.

i dont mind any names really - even the supposedly 'weird' ones that celebs choose
but recently there was a child, in america i think, named Hashtag ...
which is think is a bit ... urgh ... but mainly just because it is an 'ugly' word in itself ... if you get me - it doesnt sound nice, it doesnt mean anything nice.
its kind of an 'on trend' joke name - which makes it kind of daft
