Since watching the dreaded Jeremy Kyle over the past couple of days, what are the worst chavviest names that so called parents call their children? I have to start off with Jayden and Kayden...

I met one girl recently, about 17, who was called KC ! I asked her if it was Kacey, but she said no, just KC. I then asked her whether it was KC, or Kc, and she didn't know.....Imagine not being able to spell your own christian name !
Any combination that includes 'Demi'

'Cosworth' was locally popular recently
I read once that some parents named their daughter Porsche Carrera.
Can't see why Jayden and Kayden are considered chavvy.
May I say that I find these kind of threads the numptiest of all threads.
Yes a very few children have been given ridiculous names but Jayden and Kayden are just names ... get yourself a hobby other than watching Jeremy Kyle!
I never hear a name and think 'chavvy' - I may think unusual or odd.

I think I could only pronounce someone 'chavvy' if I knew them and their mannerisms.
Ummm...I am a bit old to understand the phrase "chavvy" but these are made-up names and are non-sex specific, which is perhaps what why people associate them with "chavviness" They are also not normally given to children by somebody with an education.

I personally have no great problem with Jayden and Kayden, but cannot for the life of me understand why anybody would call their child by just two letters, like K and C, and if they did, why the child, now adult, didn't know how to write it down.

My new Barber is from Iraq and he is called Zee !
Actually that's made me think, even though I added to it, this could be considered a bit snobby. There's also the risk that a name mentioned may (coincidentally) turn out the be the real name of poster here, which could be awkward.
I have come across the odd Chardonnay, which I am given to understand was unheard of before the much-missed "Footballers Wives "
Bloke on Pointless tonight wants to call his new born son Luxor.
Well the lovely Katie Hopkins had written off lots of children because of their chavvy names. Especially geographical names even though her daughter is named India...
ummmm, India isn't a new name. I know of at least one other - a character in Margaret Mitchell's 'Gone with the Wind', written in 1936.
'Lovely' ^^
Why lovely?
Jayden and variants , may have a longer history than first thought - not proven but some details here.

I like unusual names , though have to admit some are rather too obscure for my tastes.
I'm not saying it is. It's a nice name...

But to go on TV and slate parents for calling their children after places while you have a daughter named India screams of double standards. Tyler is a no no as well...
I have two great nephews/nieces named Ethan and Cole. As I have never met them I am oblivious as to their gender.
Tyler is interesting as yet another name that stems from a surname now used as a first name.

Dates back to the 14th Century - Katie's rant on names was pretty poor.
Ethan is biblical - and it's a boy's name. 'Cole' - I only know Cole Porter, the composer.
My mates nephew is named Campbell...after the mothers maiden name.
