Since watching the dreaded Jeremy Kyle over the past couple of days, what are the worst chavviest names that so called parents call their children? I have to start off with Jayden and Kayden...

Lol,
Are you all aware, as adults . you are being cruel to children?

Yet i'm sure you'd be the first people who'd critisise children being bullied.

Strange. First forum i've seen such abject inverted snobbery.

But the children are innocent, I thought this was more directed towards the parents.
DL, I wouldn't call this 'inverted snobbery' which afaik is snobbery coming from the people to whom snobbery is normally directed.

I have experienced this first hand when I worked in a factory:
I am from what might be considered a fairly upper middle class background and when I ***ed up my qualifications I ended up working in a factory, I went in there totally open minded but also oblivious, and the amount of cr4p I got because of my accent and use of (to quote one of them) "snobbish long words"...
Im not being unreasonable i'm being realistic.

Why would you laugh at a child with a name which doesn't in your opinion seem mainstream? Why would you judge them? In fact do you actually have problems with children regardless of the names?

I don't have problems with children, as an addendum.
Dahlia - we're not criticising the children themselves. In my case I tend to feel sorry for them and think that it's the parents who are 'to blame' - if that's the right phrase. To me it indicates that they (the parents) are a bit, dare I say it, thick.
(Goes away to hide) xx
I didn't see you there Answerprancer.I still stand by the fact that children are being mocked though.
I can sympathise with AP @1934. Been there, done that, got the T shirt.
I detest all this 'chavvy name' discrimination. Children are children and it really does not matter what their name is.

Unbelievable!
I have a Grandand named Chestnut. You don't see many of them about nowadays....!
They are selling them in Waitrose, ummmm.
Have you considered that some of these children have been named after relatives?

Looking down your nose at people says more about you than them.
What I dislike is copycat names. A celeb has a baby and people start naming their babies the same and then a few years down the line you have a load of kids starting school with the same name.

Yep, I believe there's a lot of Harpers coming into the world at the moment , although I think it's a nice name.
Imagine having a grandfather called 'Chippendale'...

In my place of work I hear a lot of these chavvy names. The ones that make me cringe are Destiny and Diamond. I'm not being cruel to the children by mentioning this. I feel sorry for them.
Why, Clover? It's just a name.
This is all turning ugly ....LOL :-)
They just sound awful to me.
