England are meant to be playing Poland tonight but it's pouring with rain and the pitch is waterlogged. The Stadium has a roof and it was kept open and heavy rain was forecast. Probably not going to happen.

I can't see it being played tonight. Even if they start closing the roof now that will take half an hour and then it will take at least an hour to clear the water sufficiently (and that's if any groundsmen can be found as there isn't one to be seen at present)

Watching it now, MASS. Decision at 8:00 UK time. What an absolute farce.

If the Poles wanted a bit of zip in the pitch then they should have closed the roof and watered it. Roy Hodgson has got a face like thunder and I don't blame him.

They are saying it can be rescheduled for tomorrow night, some fans will be back home by then! What a waste of money!

They've just announced that the roof,intended to keep the rain off, can't be closed because it's raining !

like the girl said they have a under pitch heating system which if the roof is closed will dry the pitch out in 30 mins lol..how many power stations will need to come on line for that to take place
