England are meant to be playing Poland tonight but it's pouring with rain and the pitch is waterlogged. The Stadium has a roof and it was kept open and heavy rain was forecast. Probably not going to happen.

Should make an interesting clash of programmes tomorrow night on ITV if the match is re-scheduled for then.

ITV have the Emmerdale 40th anniversary programme due to go out live at 7:00pm tomorrow. I presume that as the 40th anniversary of Emmerdale was in fact today, then the ITV controllers have already had to move the the live episode because of the football.

yeah.. if football overtakes the yawnaton soaps all the better. we had to tolerate this before shifting champs league to Tuesday's because of the not everyone's favourite cup of spit.

I'm enjoying myself watching Adrian and the lads desperately trying to fill in the time with pointless wittering. If it was BBC, they could have rolled out an episode of Dad's Army or The Good Life. But there's all those advertisers to keep happy with footie-related stuff
