Got to have my daily moan or I'll go nuts.

Steve Wright in the Afternoon - does it annoy anyone else that he says "skelington" instead of skeleton? Know it's supposed to be funny but just grates on me.

Wonga advert - TV and on here. Not going to say any more, blood pressure high enough.

I hate it when people say should of instead of should have and it's happening more and more now !
Couldn't agree more, maggiebee. It's very bad form!
Magg I know what you mean, what grates on me is people who say "Chimley"
Instead of Chimney. GgggRrrr!!

jem
One of my pet hates at the moment is those on the radio and tv who say Abby Dabby.
Can't abide it when people pronounce H as Hache!
Ww haven't had one of these threads in ages!!
< quick nurse, the screens >
sign in our local that cracks me up "A lovely lady and a Grumpy Old Man live here" - so true.....

and Hache grates on my ears too....as does 'erbs.
Pacifically, I hate people who can't say 'specifically'!!!

DTC, my daughter has a sign on her front door "House not under construction, children live here" Always gets a chuckle.
LOL maggie, I like that a lot :o)
Surely Jemisla it's "chimbley", I once had to get out a dictionary to prove to my pupils there wasn't a b in there!
I agree with all the above, plus people who say "somethink" -aaagh
And there's 'hampster' for hamster and 'spayded' for spayed.
"Please Use All Available Exits" - how the fluff do I do that ...
People who say Train station When they Know perfectly well its a Railway station
it's the train that stops at the station, not the railway, so train station is good enough for me. Hampster is an accepted way of spelling hamster, as I was stiffly informed when I complained about a crossword answer a few years ago.
Lol to this thread....

My "hate" expressed frequently on AB, the military-like command, "Enjoy," when presented with food in a restaurant/pub/caff....
And "People who say Tube station When they Know perfectly well its an Underground Train station"
