A much better life will come soon! We can be sure of that because the Bible says that many bad things would happen on earth just before it to usher in a better life. Those bad things are happening now.

The Bible does not say that any one feature, such as a marked by a change in people would by itself be proof that we are in the time of the end and that a better life is near. The Bible’s prophecies is about a time of the end were to be fulfilled upon a godless world. Luke 17:26, 27.

Most daydreams, though, seem to focus on ordinary everyday events—school, social gatherings, homework. At times people may deliberately conjure up such thoughts to break the boredom of a dull day lecture or the tedium of a household chore. Other daydreams come spontaneously. A word, a sound, or a visual image suddenly reminds them of some current concern, some past delight, or some future exploit, and their mind starts wandering. The Bible says: “For a dream certainly comes in because of abundance of occupation.” (Ecclesiastes 5:3) Indeed, one who is preoccupied with personal concerns and ambitions may be virtually consumed by materialistic daydreams.

The Churches do not teach what God’s will is. They teach what they want, and in many cases it is not what the Bible teaches. For example, they advocate war and homosexuality.

Today, Many are absorbed in their own day-to-day living and long-range planning. God and his purposes with regard to humankind and this earth do not even enter their minds. Many people claim to be Christians and belong to some religious denomination, but only for the convenience and the so-called respectable image it gives them in modern society.

Oh, you mean just like when your supposedly infallible God messed it up the first time and decided to start again. You never know, with a bit of luck if he keeps trying, he might get it right eventually. Practice makes perfect - or so 'they' say. ;o)

@Elderman - It is saddening to me that there is a whole bunch of people on this planet, who, through the faith, want nothing more than armageddon - annihilation, in the frankly absurd belief that the true believers will be "saved" by a mythical deity - a deity created by man to explain the frightening world around them.
Its teachings are medieval. Its morality is prehistoric, and its more zealous believers prone to lecture the rest of us - threateningly and/or patronizingly.
Its teachings, at a fundamentalist level, allow for no true appreciation of the marvels of the universe, and downplay our own species achievements.
Its just a pity that such believers do not spend more time in meditation, and less time in plagiarising and passing off others work as their own.

If so - if you are cutting and pasting, without any attribution, then that makes you as bad a plagiarist as Elderman. Trying to pass off legitimate criticism of ones rhetorical devices as personal abuse shows either an extremely thin skin or a willingness to defend any underhand tactic if it supports your own position. jno is a stalwart defender of 'Site Rules', and is often very vocal on the subject. However, it would appear that believers are exempt.
