I found this a couple of weeks ago, but forgot to post here.

These are the words which were 'born' in the past 109 years:

Quite surprised at the age of some of these words.

Disagree with 'Bagsy' being born in 1979-we said it in the 50s.

I'm assuming that the OED needs time to 'catch up'!
Obviously.
Agree 100% re bagsy...."Bagsy I the next turn" early 50's.
I had to scroll for miles to get to my year. My word is "Cyberculture", not one that is in my daily vocabulary

Recyclist...
Oh hell, mine is 'laugh out loud'.

LOL is one of my bête noire!
Mine is Blast-off
Mobile phone in 1945?
Mine was queue-jumper.
Like Mamyalynne pinted out - I think this 'survey' is a fairly shallow bit of journo hacking. Noticeably missing: 'teenager'; 'vandal' to name just two.
Shoddy stuff, recommend it is treated with contempt.
Television. I also spent 20 odd years installing and repairing colour TVs.
i was a 'big bang' baby!
it's not a survey at all, Mosaic, just a fairly random list compiled by the OED people with no attempt to be comprehensive, though it appears you can search for other words from your birth year.

Agree with Mamya, bagsy's much older (though in my neck of the woods it was just bags). And "Braniac" (tut tut OED, it should be Brainiac, call yourself a dictionary) is way before 1975 - he was fighting Superman in 1958
