Many thanks everyone, it was as expected a bitter sweet day.
Son and I had a lunch in the only place Mr F would go to eat, and I wore my pendant made from the ashes, so he was "sort of there" with us.
Idly wondering why on earth a reply had to be removed from a birthday thread.
Next occasion will be the anniversary of our wedding.
Anyway, thank you all so much :)
