Yes right section, when you paid £1..£2..£3 for parking and return early and there is time left on your ticket, do you pass your ticket to someone else that's just at the park?

Myself ( Even though I drive a German) yes I do.
The tightwad councils in some (very expensive) seaside carparks now make you enter your Reg Number into the machine which then prints it on the ticket.

This means you can't pass it on when you leave their crumbling, ghastly town rather earlier than you had expected, because there is naff all to do/see and nowhere to eat that won't give you a notifiable disease ... [ hello Teignmouth - yes I do mean you ].
My parents always stick their unused tickets on the front of the coin slot on the machines if they can't see anyone to hand it to:)
Used to but we now have "Pay on exit" parking
Most of the ones we use require your car's reg. number, so makes it a bit tricky. Before they came in, yes we always did
It's unlikely the ticket is much use to anyone though unless there's at least 20 minutes.
Yes every time.
Morning, darling.....I always do...or stick the ticket to the machine....wouldn't it be great if everyone using a car reg. number system put in the same false number....☺
well it does say on all the tickets ive had "not transferable" so you could get done if parking guy sees you doing this,
No...never.

Everybody should suffer equally.

I have paid to park my car and so should everyone else.
If I have to pay for parking, then yes. I generally park for free near a bus stop and then use the bus pass.

Incidentally, we visited Beverley recently and you can park in Tesco town centre car park for 3 hours for free. Well done Beverley council for including that into the planning permission deal.
And if someone offers you their ticket with an hour left on it when you only need thirty minutes, Sqad?......☺
Sqad, you're all heart! You do make me laugh. :o)

Yes, I pass my ticket to someone else.
