I don't know what's going on here, but there is no frost or fresh snow. Wonderful! :-}

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning wbm. We've got lovely thick snow here this morning. Looks great. Hope you're both ok?
Question Author
We are both well indeed thanks jan. You OK?

We are looking forward to Sunday. We are going to Mooseheart, near Weston-super-Mare for Christmas lunch. Always a good event!
I'm fine thanks wbm. Hope you have a lovely time on Sunday and don't drink too much !!. Oh, what am I sayiing...have lots to drink!!. How are you getting there? I assume you're driving. Are the roads ok in that area?
good morning all x

hope all is well with each and every one.

It's still baltic and the monkeys are well and truly brassed off.
Question Author
I will have a drink or six! :-} I will drive down and I dare say Mrs. wbm will drive back. We are taking an old mate with us, he's 88, but still going! It's mostly on the M5. About an hour door to door. The roads here are clear, we've had very little snow at all really.
Morning alba. Hope you're well.
Have a GREAT time on Sunday wbm. I'm sure you will.
hehe I love the "I dare say Mrs wbm will drive back"

Reminds me of when one of my SIL's was wanting to learn to drive, I advised her not to for that very reason. The first Christmas after she had passed her test, some months before, guess who drove home? :D
Question Author
Morning alba. It works well! :-}

I've emailed you.
morning all
Question Author
Morning DF. OK?
just the same
Question Author
No worse then! That's good.
hope Sunday is a lovely day for you both and the weather is kind.

Am just going to check :D
Good morning to you all from a white Bournemouth! It has been snowing for the last 5 hours or so. My garden looks tidy again. And before you ask - I have had the annual bath and makeover ready for the festivities later this month ;o)
Question Author
Morning ttfn. All primped and preened ready for the off then! :-}
morning ttfn this is the only time of year my garden looks good :)
Question Author
We've got our gardens, front and back, down to purple slate shale at the front and pea gravel at the back. Much easier to mow!
You got it wbm! DrF - just like a big kid I had a walk in the snow at nearly 1.00 a.m. - before any other blighter did. Mind you my footsteps have been filled in now. One thing for sure - it keeps the traffic down nicely. It is normal to assess the time of day by the sound of the traffic increasing out there. There was a lonesome 'reveller' walking slowly down the street just an hour ago. Bless him - he couldn't find the kerb!
Question Author
Dangerous things, kerbs. Why do they insist on putting them at the edge of the road where everyone is going to trip over them? Why can't they put them out of the way somewhere? :-}
Not only that wbm - up on the main high street they are at least double the height of normal kerbs - they catch out many an unsuspecting pedestrian. You wouldn't want to try getting up on wearing a pencil skirt. Well I know you wouldn't wbm... ;o))
