Last night somebody broke into my garage, they took a motocross bike and a remote control car and a load of tools. Gained entry through a side window, daughters car was parked in front of the garage, they smashed her side window so they could push the car back and open the garage.

Phoned insurance and guess what, I forgot to tell them when we converted the shop into a garage, so they say we are not covered as there is no record of us having a garage, that bit is my fault I know.

No question, just a rant.

my sympathies entirely, i was not insured when i got burgled a few years back, my fault, but being Christmas time it near broke my heart. I would have given them a pasting had they been anywhere near me.
:(

oh traci - a lousy thing to happen anyway - but at christmas!

my thoughts are with you and your daughter
Oh, Traci.....I'm so sorry.....xx
That's really crap news - so just rant away Traci and imagine cutting their gonads off with a rusty razor blade ...

Oh Traci, so sorry. Tilly had the same thing happen recently.
Traci - sorry to hear this.

Get your policy out and have a good read - just to be sure. Very often the insurer's first response is "you are not covered". They anticipate that most people will think that because the insurance co told them so, it must be right.
Where abouts are you based and what kind of bike was it?? I'll put a few messages out in bike forums if you like
So sorry Traci. What a horrible thing to happen.
Burglary is one of the most despicable crimes, you just want to get your hands on whoever is responsible. I hope that they get caught.
what a horrible thing to happen especially at xmas, I hope they catch the bu**ers.

Slapshot, it was an orange KTM.
Sorry to hear this Traci :o(
Traci I'm not far from that area if you can somehow post on Answerbanks page on Facebook with a pic and description I will happily share so it gets it out there!
I hope they get their just desserts.

I am sorry to hear this, I hope they get the barstewards and return your property.

I am so sorry to hear about this. There are some evil gits in this world and if you find out who did it I have some friends in very low places who will be happy to have "a word" with them.

When the kids go back to school I am planning on a trip to the designer outlet and would love to buy you a cuppa (and sit in the pirate ship if you want) to cheer you up?
