As I found the previous 2 episodes confusing, I thought I would persevere with the third and it would all become clear!

How wrong was I???????

I watched it last week, and kind of half understood it. I watched it for the full 2 hours tonight and found it very hard to follow who was who, and why they did the things did.
Im glad it isnt just me who found it confusing.
I lost interest in the first hour of the first episode.

Well i watched all three..and LOVED it!! It all made sense in the end but you had to watch all three very carefully.

Theres was a lot of flashbacks but it was great stuff!!
I thought it was really good. I wanted to go to bed early but couldn't.
Has anyone read the books? that may shed some light on it
Well funny you should all say this, we watched the first episdoe and got a bit confused, although I don't like giving in, but thought the acting a bit overdone. Then missed the rest in between and watched last nights!! It did seem to fall into place but who was the bloke who was shot in the shed near the end. I thought it was the gay one but he escaped to the coast so can anyone tell me please?
hi eyeshade--the guy shot in the shed was the lawer piggot's (mark addy)father--it was a flashback--when piggot went to the crooked lawyer's home and spoke to him he, (crooked lawyer), implicated piggot's father in the crimes in cahoots with laws (peter mullen) who shot the father--cheers--
