Tuesday. The sky is clear again. Yesterday turned out nice and sunny, but still a tad cooler than it ought to be. Had a fight with some weeds, I'm not sure who won! :o}

Tiggy was out for longer, but only went as for as the front garden.

Have a happy day everyone.

We're nosey LJ, You should know that! ;o} I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. :o}
curiosity satisfied for me boaty. talk of going there again but I shall refuse.
remind me where you went lady
Question Author
I can understand that LJ. Wee beasties can ruin any holibob.
I don't think I said before minty as I wanted to see what it was like with no pre-thoughts. a blank expectation (okay, that's enough sniggering).

we went to an island in the west indies. just not for me. was most unwell from first evening and had to spend a couple of days in bed just wanting to be anywhere else.
Oh dear not so good..change of climate/water/food/beasties....not a great combo...
Question Author
Not a good holibob then LJ. That region is lovely, but like most tropical places has it's drawbacks. Wee beasties being a major one. It's the same story in Malaya. I found the best way to keep them away is alcohol. They don't like it and it's a good excuse to have a party. :o}
I don't like the tropical climates and humidity either...
..apart from the plants !!
Question Author
Some beautiful plants minty. Some beautiful animals too. :o}
speaking of which...after doinm's garden decided to take her up to local nursery for a cold drink in their lovely orangery..and ended up buying 6 alpines as well as lobelia for next door neighbour, who asked me to get some if I saw it while out and about, came home to 2 small photina patio trees that I had ordered on line....so guess what I am doing today...
boatie those wee beasties let some bite marks about 7/8 cms dia on my arms and legs and i also developed a heat rash (plus blisters) (looked like alligator skin) on the exposed skin on my face, neck, hands and arms getting from airport to hotel. it was so intense and swollen it closed up one eye and left me with a slit for the other. i still have some of the swelling and the bite scabs and even my eyelids are peeling. all this after factor 70 and never ever sunbathing. first evening. as I said not for me again.
OMG ..did you have an allergic reaction..or are they just nasty nasty beasties ??
