Hello, hope you're a tad calmer now.

Hello 1izzy I'm trying, still shaking but that's easing, hoping I can settle and get back to sleep.
Panic attacks horrible,in all of their forms:-( Much slow breathing helps at times.
Any idea why the panic attack?

If you can't sleep the early birds will start their morning chorus in a couple of hours or so.

Sometimes have a bit of trouble sleeping myself, usually just waking at odd hours, tossing and turning etc.
hiya qom....nothing to panic about, all is well, quiet and peaceful x

Bunkmoreland they really are, it's always through the night they happen. I'm back to normal breathing, sipping water and I had a lolly incase my sugars bombed.

1ozzy no idea, the first one I had after a 13 year absense was because I'd lost my mum and I was having a terrible time. But I can't work out where this came from.

I might be around to see the GMEB lol, will be a first. I'm glad I have the dr today though.

Thats not good I usually sleep quite well, this is a bit disappointing for me

Thank you tambo, :)
Ofcourse you miss your darling mum. Listen to music you like or mamya's thread to help settle you.

Ive got a tummy problem.....probably msg from a chinese takeaway. My gut feels like concrete :(
I hope it's over soon, or better yet- already over, and you can soon get back to a restful sleep.
Hope things settle down Queenie, going to do some pegging now, breezy wintery sort of day here, should dry nicely.

I've got an audiobook on tambourine, but I do miss her and I've been doing really well.

SandyRoe - hello, I think it's ending, getting little final waves buy I'm hoping that was it.

Sounds lovely 1ozzy, it's been quite a hot day here yesterday, a nice breeze would be nice
Dropped to minus one last night, about 14c here today, I'll have to do something slightly useful soon. Hope you get back to sleep.
I'm heading off to bed now qum, hope you're feeling a bit more positive x
You will always miss your mum. I remember the support, fun and laughs she gave you and shared with us on here. We all miss her.

Am off to raid my meds, see what I can take to sort this stomach.

Thank you 1ozzy, Bunkmoreland and Tambourine.
I did get back to sleep as you probably saw. I'm feeling pretty shattered this morning and my throat is throbbing away - that could possibly explain why I had my Panic Attack. But a quiet day on the cards and thank you for your company earlier this morning xx
My usual problem is waking too early. Not had a full 8 hours for ages now. When I was younger that would have had me walking around in a daze/stupor all day. Last night it was a mere 5½. I feel sure this is insufficient to clear the nasty proteins from my brain and at last partially accounts for all the mental issues I'm having to excuse as "old age" these days. Forgetting things in a fraction of a second, saying the completely wrong word, doing something daft, etc. etc. etc..
And there is a perfect example. I edit in an extra sentence and it turns up before, not after the sentence it goes with; and the point where I clearly must have typed it.

I'm sorry to hear that you aren't sleeping well OG. 5.5 hours isn't too bad though. I average around 7 per night. But I'm sure you will get into a routine or something that feels normal for you, don't worry though about doing daft things or saying the wrong word, you are only human and we all do it...I know I do.
Am up too, no work till 11am....tum seems to have settled. Must remember to not eat chinese unless its free of msg.
Question Author
Glad your tummy has settled, nothing worse than a troublesome tum. I've been up for nearly 2 hours - waiting on Avon but just managed to have some breakfast. Don't work too hard though :)
