Did anyone see that pathetic final act on X-Factor. Unbelievably Louis Walsh said he would change from tonight onwards.

They must have been watching something different to me.

That's even better, how can anyone call that crapola?
Because people like pop type music sung by girl/boy bands or wailing ladies like Leona Lewis etc, which is what you normally get on X factor, Prudie.
Mind you I wouldn't rave about him, but I find him quite listenable.

Lottie - I won't criticise your judgement, but I just watched a little of the clip you posted. The poor guys first three separate mutterings were like groans of acute constipation. Should go far with those qualities.
:o)
He didnt do it for me, just something about his attitude put me off him before he sang a note really.
Can I just ask what kind of music you are into SirP? From your posts the other day I can tell you're not a rocker either.

Genuinely curious here.. :)
I watched the first 10 secs, didn't like and hit the mute button.

erin-x. Yes you are right; I am exceptionally particular when it is a choice of music/entertainment. I admire and enjoy the skills of people having taken the trouble to learn thoroughly their art. ie classical, operatic and specifically musicals (West End and Broadway). There is a lot to be said for the artistes who devote their time and persevere with vocal training, presentation and being articulate.
I have no time at all for those who merely grab a hoodie, pluck - yes pluck - not play a guitar, and jump onto a stage not even bothering to look presentable.

Am I wrong, erin-x?
You're not wrong. Just a different generation.
Not wrong, imo, just missing out.

Zacs-Master - you got it.

ummmm - thanks for your view.; and some I am happy to be missing out.
Oh...I also thought he was okay.
Well this is where our opinion differs. I think all music is a craft which has to be studied and perfected. Not everyone can do what they do and I admire every musician.

And as for the hoodie comment, I don't care what someone looks like. You listen with your ears not your eyes.

Toes - My choice of entertainment was web surfing and contributing to AnswerBank. I happened to be in the same room as someone who DOES like X-Factor.
I still think 'pathetic' was waaaaaay over the top.
I thought he was good
I thought he was good aswell.good luck to him.

Your opinion Zacs-Master and I respect that.

Equally as I said earlier I can not listen to or understand groups like Foo Fighters. During the Olympic celebrations I also expressed my dismay at the inclusion of Russell Brand whom I also tag as pathetic.

Then of course there is someone in another field - the depicable Frankie Boyle who claims to be a member of the comedians' fraternity. Sorry Zacs, once more pathetic.
I thought he was good but just sounded like an Ed Sheerin clone with a bit of rap thrown in.
