In folklore small flocks of sparrows clear the air when humans have an argument....They collect unkind words still hanging in the air, eat them or feed them to their young.
This is why sparrows seem to squabble a lot.

Declining sparrow numbers have contributed to many of the world's conflicts..... :-(

I love to hear about folk-lore.

That is something I never knew, the sparrows and their collecting nasty words.
Haven't seen a sparrow in my garden for ages, always thought they were lovely wee birds.
