Tuesday. Overcast again. Seems to be normal now.

Going to see a good friend today, he has acute health problems, he's one of the nicest people I know. But that describes a lot of people I know. Got a meeting after that. After that the rest of the day is mine. :o}

I got the official figures for the number of walkers on the Summer Walk at the hospice, Well over three hundred, the youngest being four years old, he walked the whole 10K, the oldest being in his 80's, and about forty dogs!

fine ta..had a nice day out yesterday came home to find the wee man had chopped 2 feet from the hedge so will have to sweep the inside with cutter today and cut back forsythia that has finished flowering, that will be bin full 'till next Friday

He can come and cut my back hedge if he likes! :o} I couldn't cut it last year as there were birds nesting all year. I haven't seen any coming or going this year.

all the nests were empty a few weeks back..it's a rule that I don't allow anyone to cut it 'till I have checked for inhabitants !

it will make future cutting much easier now it is just a tad over waist height

the front is quite open anyway Boaty and it is only a dividing hedge, the back has 2m fence with climbers and is screened completely...
