Clive (see how many references I can make to Manchester Utd even if they are not playing) Tyldesley makes my blood boil.
Ah - no-one matches the doyen of cycling commentators - David Duffield

Capable of doing a whole 6 hour stage of the TdF without drawing breath ... strangely addictive ...
Jonathan Pearce and Tony Gubba, on Match Of The Day. Gubba used to pronounce Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzers name as Sch-Vart-zer (With special emphasis on the Vart).

I would always watch a Champions League game on Sky than listen to anyone on ITV. Alan Green on Radio 5 gets right on my pecs too!
. . . and Stan Colleymore. OMG
jonathan legard and ben edwards, bbc formula one. they are both so bland. i miss martin brundell, and going back many years ... murray walker
Yes Murray W. was/is a star - he always commentates standing rather than sitting - possibly because his trousers are on fire (it certainly sounds that way)

:)
I agree with mrsspagnoli57 that Clive Tyldesley is the real pain of al the commentators. Most players are called by their surname during matches but with Silva and Luis he always has to precede it by their christian name David with a ridiculous fake foreign accent. He said David Silva over 30times in one match so that in the end I switched the sound off because it was driving us up the wall
That Welsh person Jonathan who commentates on international rugby.
Matt Baker, the worse presenter on TV. Killed the gymnastics in Beijing for me.
Am totally with boxtops on this one. Jonathan Davies drives me bl00dy mad with his constant "look, look" and "watch this, watch this."

We are watching it you feckin' idiot!

As soon as they say their commentators include JD I loose the will to listen and the mute button is my best friend.
Andy Townsend and Garth Crooks, both dreadful
i turn the tv over when they witter on. Agree about Jonathan Davies, as well, but Matt Baker takes the top spot, he is undoubtedly so in love with his own voice, that doesn't get the fact he is a twerp.
Alan Smith on Sky.
Julian Rider is one of the co-commentators for MotoGP on Eurosport. He doesn't seem to breathe in during any sentence so that by the time he reaches the last couple of words in a longer one he sounds like Mr. Bean. At least he knows what he's talking about.
Can't stand Gary Lineker!
