Just watched it and it was dire. How can they give grown up contestants £5 per correct question? Never mind the fact that it was first screened in the 80's when £5 to a teenager was a lot of money, the prize per question should have been at least £50 by today's standards.
Same tune but they couldn't resist tweaking it to its detriment.
Like Simon Mayo but not on the telly. There were too many longish gaps between the Gold Run questions.
