Question Author
good morning nora, moonie and alba.

how's the weather with you all. we just had lots and lots of rain yesterday. got soaked walking from the car to house. wish it had been dry on't mind a bit of frost, but would like it to be dr. we have had sooooo much rain already this winter.
Question Author
still got today's games to look forward to.
..same here lady j...driving rain all day yesterday.
Early days, Nora, early days:) (fingers crossed, legs crossed, toes crossed)

I am so torn for today's game. I must remain neutral.

LJ, I';m surpised that the ground can still soak the water up in parts of the country. If it's dry and cold at least you can wrap up against it.
Yep Albs...actually both games yesterday were a bit of a yawn fest.
I'm hoping the 'Big One' today will be proper rugby.

I believe the singing in the Burlington was fantastic last night..wish I'd gone to enjoy it. =)
Question Author
alba why are you torn? is there anything neutral about this competition?

so much surface water. when it was frosty on thursday there was a car stuck sideways in the lane on the hill between the cornish hedges. poor thing must have tried to break and skidded. don't want to bore you but do you know what a cornish hedge is?
Question Author
with all those gritters working for you moonie getting around must be a doddle - not. hope all are driving carefuly and keeping safe.
Type Your Answer Here...Nope..no idea lady j....what is it?
It's not too bad here this moring as it is starting to thaw, but I was out there at 4 this morning to dig the car out ready for work this morning.
What is a cornish hedge? Sounds interesting!
About 10 ft high and mainly consisting of tree type plants.
Cripes...digging snow at 4am......yuk....=(
Question Author
cornish hedges are double granite/stone walls about 3-4 foot apart with bushes amd trees, etc planted on top and with all sorts or greenery growing out the side so the wall part is invisible. just look like tall hedges. very unforgiving if you run into them.
painful LJ, please keep them in Cornwall :)

Nora, does Moonie good to shovel snow :D
