Another two monsters in these child abduction cases were given indefinite prison terms yesterday, and before anyone tries to defend them by stating that they are not paedophiles should read their convictions:

/// Saddique, from Normanton, Derby, was convicted of four rapes, two false imprisonment charges, aiding and abetting rape, three counts of sexual activity with a child, two sexual assaults, being involved with child pornography and attempting to pervert the course of justice.///

/// Unemployed Liaqat, of Sinfin, Derby, was convicted of rape, aiding and abetting rape, being involved with child pornography, two sexual assaults, four counts of sexual activity with a child, and affray.///

Seems pretty damning to me.

Jack Straw addressed the problem, with the usual treading on broken glass attitude used by politicians and the police:

/// "Pakistanis, let's be clear, are not the only people who commit sexual offences, and overwhelmingly the sex offenders' wings of prisons are full of white sex offenders./// Jack Straw.

/// Police in Derbyshire have insisted that the sexual abuse case should not be treated as a racial issue. ///

The Prime Minister was more direct,

/// Prime Minister David Cameron said "cultural sensitivities" should not hinder police action in such cases. ///

yes
And your point is??
Jack Straw addressed the problem, with the usual treading on broken glass attitude used by politicians and the police:

So saying Pakistani men see white girls as 'easy meat' is treading on broken glass?
"cultural sensitivities" should not hinder police action in such cases

...and they haven't. So?
Exactly what is the point of this posting?

Okay - so not every question necessarily demands an answer on AB. Some discussions are built on the poster positing a point of view...but there's not even that in the 'question'

What are you asking of us?
Question Author
ummmm The treading on glass expression was referring to his limp & weak "calming down" statement that I highlighted in forward slashers.

/// "cultural sensitivities" should not hinder police action in such cases, and they haven't. So? ///

If you had been following these cases you would know that a large amount of criticism had been targeted against the police for alleged cover-ups.

/// What are you asking of us? ///

So you are speaking for the rest of AB, not just yourself?

Well I will answer you in your case, aren't you one who denies these monsters are paedophiles?

There are also many points of view that can be extracted from cases such as this, makes a change from going on about Kylie.all the time.
Glad to see that the two ringleaders have been given reasonably stiff sentences, i.e. at least 8 years and 11 years respectively.

The right kind of message has to be sent out to those who disrespect other human beings in such a manner.
Maybe Jack Straw has point. If Pakistanis regard young white British girls as easy meat what proof is out there. We know the Muslim religion is much stricter with the wearing of veils etc but does it take a person from another country to see the faults that lay in our society.

For instance we have one of the most unmarried unwanted teenage pregnancies in the western world. Maybe we should sit up and take notice of our depraved society
Not sure why we are listening to Jack Straw. Who is in charge now, why are they not saying something.

There are two reasons why these sorts of cases occur. One is the men are brought up with no respect for women. The second is the children are not looked after properly. If these girls were not allowed to stay out all night, were not allowed to drink, were not allowed to get stoned, these evil men would not have the opportunity to abuse them. They are evil men, but our society which supplies them with girls is far far from perfect.

No matter what is wrong with our society, it's not up to these savages to take advantage.

Even a fully paid up prostitute, wouldn't deserve what these very young girls had to endure.

/// were not allowed to get stoned ///

A rather inappropriate choice of words, don't you think Gromit?
Question Author
It was reported that the EDL and other Right-Wing groups were outside the court protesting, no sign of the UAF or others, so a peaceful protest took place.
Just imagine the far greater uproar if it had been white men commiting such offences against young muslim girls
Can I ask about your OP Heading AOG?

If you are not satisfied with mine or joeluke's descriptions, please feel free to use one of your own.

The rule being, they must be even more damning than ours.
Cheers for taking the time to reply AOG (dont see where JL came into the equation when I specifically asked you as the OP but then again if I had thrown it open I would have been told by JL to ask you -lose/lose).
Bit cheeky arent you given I asked politely.
AOG

I'm not sure why - but the Kylie reference made me laugh so much that I spat a cup of coffee over my iPad.

Unfair and and un-called for.
