Eeer no. They know more about it than me ummmm.

We have joked about things from time to time though.
No as I don't have any. I guess talking about it to the neighbour's kids isn't quite the same thing is it...

I didn't talk about the mechanics of it, but I did talk about the importance of a loving relationship and contraception.

Yep Traci...my daughter has an implant. Fitted in Ireland..

^^ Now that's progress
My kids are 46 and 42 and if they don't know by now then heaven help us!!
I'm same as ummmm - my mum was always open and matter of fact about sex. I was the same with my 2 lads, now 36 and 32, and I hope they will be as open with their kids

Good for you Welsh xx
Not since I discovered she knew more than me.................
You could try the neighbours' kids Dave ?
my mums method was to leave copies of Harold Robbins novels lying around knowing I would gread any book ~I could get my hands on ....explains a lot I suppose including my disappointment at times
Sat the boy down to discuss, he asked what did I need to know.....

I think kids learn from kids these days, as parents we need to be able to answer the questions they don't understand and make sure they are comfortable with it all
We're very open with our kids regarding sex, but never had the need for a sit down talk specifically about that, everything was addressed as it went along naturally, so their understanding and awareness grew with them. I'm confident that my kids who are of an age where they could be sexually active are sufficiently well informed with regards to STI's and contraception to manage their lives themselves, but if they need advice about anything then we are always here on a non judgmental level to talk to.
