What do you do when you lose your temper? Today I got really angry for the first time in I don't know how long. I had a think and realised I can only really lose my temper on behalf of someone else......last time was when a nurse mistreated MrG.....you know that feeling when the red mist descends...it's actually quite nice. Maybe I will do it more.....I'm much too easy going I think......;-)
So...what do I do? I march around at speed banging things, chuntering and swearing...goodness...I said words I have never heard in my life!!!
So....one calming wine later and back to the muggy and overcast garden...x

Gness for the personality you have - something has really really upset you - but like everything else it will tide over.

Does one good to kick the cat now and again.

Metaphorically speaking, of course!

Do you know, Chill.....I think you are right....I shall sit in wait for next door's cat tonight. Two years of using my garden is enough!!!
Oh...I like this feeling.... :-) x
I haven't lost my temper for years thankfully, no good ever came of it, it often involved me boxing one of my brothers ears.
I don't think I've ever lost my temper, at least I cannot remember when or if this has ever happened.

Think I'm like my Mum who has control and a good 'grip' on anything.
I have the patience of several monestaries, and it takes a heck of lot for me to lose my temper however -

when it does go, my voice rises to a level that very few people have ever heard, and my eyes do flash (my children assure me!) and my depthless vat of sarcasm is given full reign.

I usually walk away from the situation, because the notion of violence while in a rage really worries me - never done anything yet, but circumstances can dictate behaviour which is not appropriate.

If I am in that much of a temper, it gives me a headache which will last a couple of hours, but i do calm down pretty quickly.

It is all the more shocking, even for people who know me well, because it is so rare, and few of them have ever seen it in full flow - family excepted.
i give my car a damn good thrashing if it refuses to start first thing in the morning
I'm exactly the same. I'm very laidback and rarely get angry. If i do, it's usually on behalf of someone else
I can honestly say that, although I feel angry and act because of it, its always in my control and I never ever lose my temper. I have in the past and no good ever came of it.

I am the most laid back person I know , however when I reach the end of my tether ( rarely ) oh boy.. run for the hills. I scream, cry then stomp. And gawd help anyone who gets in my way !!

Desktop....I am Irish....I am from a large Irish family....we are lovely, calm and never nasty...but today I am in a really cross mood....and not green.
Rare I get angry, though I do always get even, subtly.

Very seldom get annoyed about anything, once you lose control you are at a disadvantage, not a position I like to put myself in.
What got you so angry? Care to tell? Want to know...
I havent got much of a temper, quick placid really.
But I do remember one accasion when i was hopping mad and kept pacing the floor.
Mr puss told me to shut up or he'd nail my other foot to floor.
I did say metaphorically gness.....!

I can't cry, Flump.....or scream but I can go icy cold. Interesting though that those who are on the whole calm and patient can..on the very rare occasion..
really blow.
I wonder if little and often is healthier than once in a blue moon. Think my very low BP went up a tad today....x

Oh heck! Missed that bit Chill...Oh well...:-(
Never lose control....that's why I never get drunk either...tipsy but never out of control.
We shall see, Society...x
Bu99er when they only nail the one foot to the floor, Puss..x
I have a long slow burning fuse and I rarely lose my rag. I get mildly annoyed at things, but I generally have the ability to ignore. I tend to stay icy cold and completely collected.

However, when I do blow, I blow my stack completely. I stomp round, crashing and banging and I once chucked a tray of rotten eggs at Mr BM. lol
