How much(ish) do you think a single, normal sized cooking apple would weigh? Thanks.

Thank you - last time I ordered something by weight I got about 10 onions when I only wanted one (Asda have obviously recognised that some people (like me) are clueless about weights and you can now order loose items by quantity as well as weight).
apples? Onions?

Sorry Daisy, last time I ordered onions by weight and got loads. This time I am ordering a cooking apple as part of my online shopping and I wanted to know how much(ish) one would weigh.
Soz sherra , see what you mean. Can't really answer that, I guess that's why I won't order by weight online, prefer to feel for myself lol....but it's true with fresh things...you have to see them to know what you're getting methinks.
