They usually don't have skins if they are tinned - better just heat up.
Are you serious, Alba? Tinned potatoes?

We often have a tin in, good for emergencies (or salads)

Thanks Boxy, I wasn't too keen on the idea just fancied a different take on spuds with the roast chicken

alba - no shame, good food, cheap.
I have used tinned potatoes, they are not too bad.

3 meals bought yesterday, for the 4 of us for a tenner :-)
quarter cut, sprinkle with salt & grill with little oil, for crunch.
I'm sorry, alba. That was thoughtless of me.
You could try sprinkling with oil and putting in a small roasting dish in a very hot oven. The won't take long, as they're already cooked.

You can buy ready made mashed potato too - Aunt Bessie's are lovely.

Well, I say 'food' in the loosest sense :-)
deep fry them
no shame albs, I always keep a couple of tins in handy.

I've never tried to roast them, but they fry up well seasoned with salt, pepper and oregano, which might be an alternative.
