do all 3 executors need to be named on a bank account

my brother, sister and I are named executors for my late mothers will.
my brother lives abroad (12+ hours time difference)

my sister and i opened a joint bank account and have paid estate monies in.

should all 3 executors have been named on the bank account?

Dont know the answer, but would'nt hurt to also put this question in "Law" as the good folk in there might know and be able to help you, if someone here cant. :0)
I would doubt it, my sister has done the same thing on behalf of the other three remaining beneficiaries.
I had difficulty in finding a bank that would open an executors account. My niece & I were executors for my sister, her mother. I simply put the money in my account and once everthing was attended to I gave my niece a cheque for the balance. I kept my niece fully informed as to what I was doing and she had copies of all the details.

Therefore I would think the asnwer to your question is who will know? I would think it depends on your brother's opinion.
