Good Morning All,

Well like the temperatures outside my weight has been up and down lately. I'm sure it has to do with me being "lost."

Hope you are all getting near your goals.

not going to SW for a while but weighed at home and relieved its a maintain despite a bad week...hopefully that's stopped the rot.... I know my scales are pretty close to the SW ones so I will weigh at home until I am ready to go back....
Well not a good week for me - 2lb up. I've had my grandson staying for a few days, he went home yesterday. He is only 2 and a half and although I've been run ragged with him I just haven't had time to be monitoring what I've been eating. Plus we have been taking him out and he has wanted icecream, I love icecrean so couldn't resist. I should have bought a new countdown from SW last night but I've decided to try to follow it on my own. I have several weeks coming up where I won't be able to get there and don't want to be paying for weeks I can't use.

Well done to all of you that have lost, hopefully I'll be one of those next week.

Thanks for the peptalk Wendilla, we needed it !!!
At the moment losing weight is just a bit far down the list of priorities.... but after a few iffy weeks I am trying to just keep to approx 80-90% healthy eating and if all I do is maintain for a few months I will still be nearly a stone and a half better off than I was at christmas . And I am still getting the benefit of all the extra walking

Well, home from the first lunch. Here in Denmark you don't get a plate of food, you help yourself to the food which is laid out in various plates etc. I was sitting beside a nice slender lady who was a bit younger than myself. I watched what she took out of the corner of my eye and took exactly the same amount which turned out to be probably ½ of what I would usually eat......I felt quite full and hopefully have learned something today.
Good for you Xstitcher. I have had a good day tonight I have done mince in slow cooker with loads of veg .The only thing I had to have was mint jelly with it. Then a low yogurt so will not have anything else tonight. Got my grandson tomorrow so will say no if tempted.

Wendilla, now that we have been helping each other for about a year what should I do if I want to talk to you about something not to do with weight, but about my little grand daughter who has MD that I really don't want to put on a chat place. If we agreed to share our personal email addresses how would we do it? Will I be struck off just for asking???? I certainly hope not and it's okay if you don't want to.
Hi xstitcher how nice of you to ask .I have thought of this myself. I will try and find out .I don't do facebook but I think I could let you have a disposable e mail address from what I have read in the past then take it from there.I have an e mail address that I don't use so perhaps I could put that up then dispose of it after I get in contact with you. But let me find out first and I will get back to you .
Hi xstitcher I have e mailed the ed so hopefully I will get some advice how to do this .
Morning everyone, havnt been on for a while as busy decorating.
At last onward and downward. Ive been up and down like a yoyo over the last few weeks but last night had lost 2 and half pounds and my bmi is now only 28.4. This is now the lowest weight Ive been for about 30 years ! I feel great as Ive been going to Zumba also on wednesday evenings, and our workplace is being sponsered by Global corporate Challege for 16 weeks to increase your activity and wear a pedometer from morning till night to see how many steps you do. Its amzing how it makes you want to increase t more each day to get your personal best. We are all having evening walks and I have worked out a walking treasure hunt for us for one evening. Team bonding it called and it really helps.
Sorry, I havnt had time to read how everyone else is getting on but I will do. Im sure you are all doing great. Just keep going, especially now summer is here. good luck everyone xxx

I hope the Ed. can help us Wendilla. Fingers crossed............
Oh Jools and you thought having the little man around would help....at least you know where you went wrong.

Have any of you ever tried the Paul Mckenna system? I lost three stone the year that it came out and although I put some back on I have never been that big since!
I was nearly 19 stones and went down to 16, over time I went back up to 17 and am now down to just under 15.
His theory is to eat what you want but only when your body 'needs' it! I am back doing that now and although the weight loss has slowed it is so much less restricting than following a diet plan! You can pick up the books and CD's on Ebay really cheaply now.....just thought it might be worth a mention.

Good luck ladies....and gents......

It's called Think Yourself Slim, for anyone who is interested.

I'm afraid my will power isn't that good divegirl - If I can eat what I like but only when my body needs it.............my body wouls be telling me I need it all the time. :-)) I find the SW Extra easy is quite good, the weight seems to be slower but it is coming down - As long as I stick to the plan. I'm back to it now so I hope that I will have a lose next week. I plan to up my exercise too. I think that if I have the odd blip it doesn't matter too much as long as I go straight back to the eating plan. I used to get very down when that happened but not any more.

Onwards and Downwards.
Hi TheOtherHalf good for you and you have done well looks like these classes are good .Keep up the good work.Onwards and Downwards
Hi Divegirl I am with JimJools on that I would not have the will power. If there is something in cupboard that is for my grandsons when they come it will worry me for about an hour then I will go and eat it then I wish I hadn't. It does do you good to have the odd treat then get back on track. You have certainly done well but like every other diet when you stop you still have to be careful that is why I don't say I am on a diet I say I eat healthily apart from the odd blip. I have been stuck for a few weeks but hopefully I will be back on track.

Throwaway Emails....just set up another email account with your provider give it a different name like gladys27 and include in post with a comment saying 'this email address has been specially set up for the purpose of contacting another poster off site' so it is clear it's a throway
