Paul o Grady has two biographies out...fun read.. alfie boe...sigh....Brendan sheerin...funny.....

John suchets book on his life and Bonnie his wife's decline into Alzheimer's. superb read !

Marian Keyes is an excellent author.

Don't get This Charming Man. It's not not lighthearted and fun. Try 'Sushi for Beginners' or 'The Brightest Star in the Sky'

Alice in Wonderland is a good light read. A couple of my friends took my advice, and they really enjoyed it. It really isn't a kids' book: they would not comprehend and or appreciate some of the humor in it.

Anything by Patricia Scanlan, Divided Loyalties is my fav by her.

If you like biographies/autobiographies, try Norman Wisdoms and Jim Davidsons ones., both very good reads.

I'm still plodding through Game of Thrones (book 3) Land of Ice and fire. Maybe not the best size book to take on holiday though. PD James books are good. I've got a few waiting to be read but the above is taking ages to finish.
Harlen Coben and Lee Child are good authors.
