You could clear out a cupboard. (What I've been doing today)

Window pane on back door needing a wipe down?
(I'm struggling to think here lol)

I could but I did that the other week Butterbun - could maybe re-arrange a cupboard.
All spick and Span Alba...I gave the house a good doing 2 weeks ago and I'm on top of everything.
Mum would be proud though.
I will fax you over my address queenie !

lol Mikey - if only I had a Fax Machine.

Had to take a break as my sugars plummeted. Just getting ready to head to the optician.

See you all later
Well done Queenie, your Mum would be very proud of you.

Thanks Marval. I'm back and I'm faffing about moving stuff and throwing bits out - that was one thing mum didn't do. I should be prepping tea but I'm in tidy mode and I can't get out of it. She would probably be saying why didn't I do this when she was alive lol.
Was Nungate a hoarder?
Question Author
In some aspects yes Ummm she was. I don't object to the craft stuff she 'hoarded' but all the other stuff...dad and I have only just began making a dent in it. We have kettles that don't work, empty bath bottles that were 'different' I could go on but I shan't. I want to hire a skip but dad won't let me - too expensive. I'd have it filled in an hour or so.
well, believe me, it does allow for a better screening of chucking things out - without the OCD experience....having said that, the mater here has now questioned me about getting in a skip - yeAH - 8 mattresses and all the rest to go!!
Question Author
Because we downsized and down sized again I have a conservatory, garage and storage unit to go through. I might see how much it would be to hire a skip and get dad to take a day or two off work and just go for it. I feel better when I can clean things and clear them. Don't ask me why I just do. I can't understand how me and mum could be so similar yet so different. If I lived closer DT id come nab a mattress as mine is done, but I really need a new bed.
Where are you? Our council will pick 3 large items for £10. A skip round here, medium, will cost about £115.
Question Author
I'm in East Lothian ummm, I think here collections are free as they have a big unit and all the stuff that can be reused goes to those that are maybe starting out and can't afford their own bits. I saw something about small skips but they aren't local but I'd need to investigate. We aren't far from the skips really I was just thinking of saving dad the hassle of having to make several trips to get rid of stuff.
