Hi, is there anyway I can stop the notifications arriving to my email when someone answers/ comments on a thread I started ?

Go to the thread and unsubscribe from it.



There is also a tick box on your profile page but last I tried it wasn't workingwell.

Yes - don't click the subscribe box. If you don't subscribe, you won't get notifications.

Or change your answerbank email address on your profile to a disposable email account that you just use for AB and check now and again. I think that would work.

You have had some great answers here and I hope you find a solution that suits you.

An alternative option is, depending on your email provider, you could set up a filter so the emails are just sent to a folder unread and never hit your inbox :-)
