I emailed you a couple of days ago and I've yet to get a response. I don't wish to sound impatient but have you received the email or has it been lost into the ether?

Apologies if this isn't the correct way of following this up but I don't want to re-email you if it also gets lost into the ether!

Dizmo,

Sorry, we don't seem to have had anything from you, I have checked the email address we have on record for you and there has been nothing from there in our inbox.

Could you use the contact us link at the bottom of the page and try again?

Will do when I get back home. I think I saved it somewhere - it was a large'ish email.

Thanks AbAuntie.

Manage to connect to my PC via Teamviewer (shout out for teamviewer :) ) and have resent the email using the contact me link. Cheers.
Dizmo,

Sorry but we have no record of an email from the email address on your account. Or even one with your username in it.

Not sure what is happening why don't you just ask here? :-)

The email is of personal nature - I'm not willing to post it publicly. Can you not email me a direct email address? Are you able to access "[email protected]"? if so I can forward it to there.
Dizmo go to 'Contact us' right at the bottom of the page. That works.
Question Author
Tilly2: Done that twice, which is why ABAuntie and I are having this chat :) It doesn't seem to be working.
Question Author
"Name:" which I use as my username. The "Email:" is also the one that is registered with my AB account and is also active. I can only assume it is the email length or there is a fault somewhere.
dizmo,

that is the correct email address and i have just tested the contact us link and it worked fine, not sure what is happening with your email sorry :-(

I can only suggest you keep trying and if i get something through i will let you know :-)

cheers

you should get a confirmation email to the address you type in to confirm it has been sent if you are not getting this then it is not getting through for some reason.

I know this sounds silly but are you sure you are typing your email address correctly :-)

I've tried sending emails through 'contact' from 3 different machines using 3 different browsers and non of them show any confirmation. I've had to send it using my email client to the address I mention earlier in my posts on this thread. I'll re-forward the email (the original) again.
Question Author
Thank you for replying to the first email. Did you receive the second one that included the wording; "(I can't really describe it any better than that Ed or Auntie)."

I look forward to your response.

Regards,
Stuart.
Question Author
How long does a response usually take? I know I'm sounding impatient but it's rather important I get a response. I wonder what is going on with the emails :(
My bitter experience is that when you email AB via 'contact us' you get an automated reply thanking you and that a member of the team will be in touch shortly. That is the last you will hear.
Question Author
Well I'm persistent and there has been emailing issues so I'm not yet willing to think I'm being ignored :)

It's snowing by the way! I can't be bothered to make a new thread so thought I'd say here :) It's been snowing since about 19:00. The roads look horrific. I hope my GP can get in for the doctors appointment I have this morning!
Why don't you move further north? The last time we saw a snowflake was four years ago, and we soon gave it the bum's rush.
Question Author
How much further North? Over the border and far away?
Only as far as the Tyneside coast. God, being a Geordie, looks after his own. I think he is in the frame to be the next manager of NUFC; they need a miracle.
