What exactly is rayon? I thought is was an old fabric from the 40's - an acrylic version of silk. But now i've just heard about rayon crepe - is this just a synthetic crepe? Do they still call it that...

Do employers really check A' Level, O' level and GCSE grades for accuracy on CVs? Would they really be bothered to go through the hassle when my details are from over 15 years ago?

squid and tiger prawn curls

How do you slice squid so it goes 'curly' like in the soups at Wagamamas? Also in Thai soups the tiger prawn is in a butterfly shape - anyone got any tips? Thanks, tin.

Eek! I just saw a legged insect crawl out of one of my woollens - but it wasn't a moth (they're winged) and i suspect it was having a much on my sweater. Does anyone have an idea what this insect...
