Download options

Whenever I download a program the options - Save to disc or Download all files appear, which option should I choose and why PS I use firefox if it makes any difference

Whenever I open anything that requires Adobe my screen freezes for a while and then it closes any firefox pages that I have open. Any idea what the problem maybe:(
