self publishing

has anyone tried self publishing a book they've written. i want to do this as i can't find a publisher who'll do it for me but it's a lot of money to waste on a scam or a poor result. Thanks Skeila

broadband

rreloaded bt broadband. when i need to disconnect i can't. there are no '2 tvs' to click onto. there are arrows but it doesn't let me disconnect. i have to turn the pc off.

best picture quality

there is a white rectangle that i can't click on to get rid of. it tells me about the best picture quality settings. i've changed the settings but it still sits there.

thanks so far everyone. i think i've found my doc in temp files. however, when i try to open it all i get are boxes and 'y's'. definately computer speak? can i convert it to human speak??

HELP! i had a huge doc printed on ms word 2003. i accidentally deleted it when i thought is was just deleting a paragraph. is there any way to get this back. i had saved it regulary.
