syncing mp3 player with WMP

when i sync my MP3 player (Archos XS 202) about 200 of my 3000 songs say they can't be transferred. Why is this??

when i view a video on a website using WMP it uses an older version of WMP for some reason yet on my system i use the most up to date version possible. why does this do this and how can i change this?...
