Weird behaviour.

On one of my lappys, I have Windows 10, and Outlook Express 6

If I highlight a message, and click "Delete" ...

Instead of moving the message to Delleted Items, OE6 just puts a "strike through" line through the message.

The Inbox is going to start looking pretty cluttered if I can't clear out the old messages.

Any suggestions?

You could try manual messages deletion: - Select 'Edit'>'Purge Deleted Messages' and also to auto purge each time you close Outlook Express:- - Select 'Tools'>'Options' from the menu - Select 'Advanced' tab. - Click 'Maintenance' - Make sure 'Purge deleted messages when leaving IMAP folders' is checked. - Click 'Close' - Click 'OK'

You could try dragging and dropping the message into the trash.
Or even click "move" and select trash.
