thanks ummm,making soup
If you use a lot of American recipes, it's well worth investing in a set of cups. Tesco and the like usually stock them quite cheaply. I find I use them more than my scales lately.
I got mine from Morrisons for about £3. Loads on Amazon. The measuring spoons are also really handy.
how much is six cups of Kale?

Much too much!
There's never too much kale ;)
I love any dark greens - and so good for you too.
I am a supertaster, all brassicas taste bitter to me and smell like an accident in stink bomb factory.
I find kale to be quite bitter as well. I'd still eat it though. I bet it makes a nice soup.
To me. it does't taste "quite" bitter, I literally can't tolerate it in my mouth, and I can eat most normal foods to be polite if I have to. I used to get into trouble at school, they had a clear your plate policy on school meals and i just couldn't do it.
sorry kate, i have taken your thread OT, I won't do it again :)

your fine woofgang, read with interest, how do I get rid of the bitter taste then?????
If one cup is 250ml...you'll be wanting one and a half litres of kale. Why do they have to use volumes to measure a vegetable, when most sensible people would use weight?
no idea kate.
