Can Classic FM guess your favourite piece of music in 9 questions ...

http://www.classicfm.com/discover/music/favourite-classical-quiz/

They guessed that mine was Chopin's Minute Waltz, which was way, way off the mark. Also, it seems to suggest that I'm a bit of a flighty person who doesn't take things too seriously.

Do they get yours right ??

They could always alternate the minute waltz with Shoshtakovichs Second waltz... sorry, bad joke couldn't resist. I shall return to watching the football

There's a great clip of Herbie Von K conducting the Raddy March at one of the New Year's Day concerts. I'll try to find it ...
Short and sweet , Copeland's Fanfare for the Common Man

Ever wonder where Emerson Lake and Palmer got the tune from?

I think they came up with the theme to Poldark which I am quite happy with given that Aiden Turner is so stunningly handsome.

Thanks mainly to Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange", my fav piece of classical music is Beethoven's Ninth. Yet according to this 'test' it ought to be Vaughan Williams' "The Lark Ascending". I can only assume that they based their evaluation on the answer i gave to the holiday question and stated my preferred destination as the rolling hills of the English Countryside.
