Local (stuff ... fill in the blank) accompanied by a picture of the pier.

Even when it's irrelevant.

Cliché image!

Or worse, a picture of the pier AND the Pavilion. There is nowhere from which you can see the pier AND the Pavilion. Unless you stand opposite the Pavilion and keep glancing to your left at the front of the pier.
Football commentators saying "He's put a shift in" a shift is 8 hours!

Or when they say "Park" instead of "Pitch" Parks have swings n slides and dog poo
A ball park figure.

I have a window in my diary/schedule.
I hate to hear "there's no such thing as a free lunch" !!
On shopping channels, they frequently say about clothing 'you can dress it up or dress it down'. grrrrr.
It's been such a journey (celebrities after a few months dancing/ice skating or in the jungle)

Hate "Charity begins at home".
Any sports pundit who says "literally". As in Chris Hoy cycling like fury round a track and the commentator says "He's literally on fire!"
