Windows 8 System Information

In Windows 8, where can I find system info (ie 32bit, 64 bit) etc. as there is no start key.

Hmm. move mouse to bottom rh corner of screen, wait for tab to slide out, press "settings", then select "PC Info" or "control panel"

Thanks LG. I had pinned Control Panel to the opening page and have found the info. I`m having problems trying to install my Canon Pixma MP620 to my new laptop so I needed the info to try to get help. Bloody computers!

HC I`m not sure if I have upgraded to 8.1. I downloaded something when I installed Internet Explorer at the beginning. How do I find if I have 8.1? It doesn`t show it in the system information.

Go to Control Panel, then select System And Security, followed by System and the version of Windows is displayed in the first part of the info.

Windows couldn`t find my printer when I plugged it in for the first time so I figured I needed to get a driver from the internet. I needed the info and I can`t believe it`s actually worked. Panic over. Thanks for the answers.

There's numerous Apps you can load to give you back the Start Button - 'Start Menu Reviver', 'Start8' and 'Start Menu 8' are a couple of examples that you can use.

What were Microsoft thinking of when they made this change - have they lost their minds?

I remember the dark days when people complained about the Windows Start button - how confusing to have to click 'start' to turn off.
