In reverse using the lowest reverse gear you have. Let the engine do the braking as much as possible.

DaisyNonna: That's the sort of thing they do in films but usually over a cliff edge. It sure is by far the quickest and safest (for the driver) was of descending though. I'm not sure the load or dumper would be unscathed though.
get a teaching assistant to do it
More interested in the driver safety than the dumper or its load.
Gradient not safe for loaded skip.
If I can, the Dumper will have I'm sure 16 or so Gears, High / low, when the start of the decent 2nd Low using the Exhaust Brake to hold you back, by letting the Engine choke itself will help by not overheating the brakes, using the handbrake can cause rear end skid as the brakes are on Air, it's difficult to judge the pressure.
