this isn't a whinge at FaceBook itself, so lets not go there (please!), but a mini rant at those 'scare' stories with messages to pass them on.

The latest one to enter my news feed is

If you're savvy enough for Facebook, I (wrongly?) assume that you're savvy enough to check these stories out before posting and possibly scaring other people witless with the "PASS IT ON" urgency in their posts.

Dunno why they irritate me, they just do.

There was another scare message doing the rounds not so long ago that was stupid. It said that a child had been abducted and gave full details and a car registration number. I don't know the full story but it was all to do with some sort of custody issue. I will just keep to posting funny cat pictures.
