We all have thoughts about people less fortunate than ourselves as we have read in the papers & on here, but do you really think about how cold your house would be if you could not
afford heating? I wonder if the MPs think about that when they can claim what they can claim for within their so-called duties.

There's nowt better than having a bird on your arm;-) Seriously, it'll be great to see them close up rather than through a pair of bins or on a nest cam.
wrong thread, carrust?!
I know .....Doh
I have no choice but to have my heating on from 6am till whatever time I go to bed. I have lung disease and my doctor has told me I have to keep the house at at least 18 degrees celsius at all times. I turn the heating off at night though because I can't sleep if i'm too warm. It costs us at least £30.00 pw for gas.
I can't live without my heating on, I'm always cold but it is all relative and what we get used to. I often wonder how I used to manage because we never had central heating as a child (neither did most of the population) and I didn't live in a house with CH until I was over 30.
