If I hear another one of the X Factor contestants say 'I've worked so hard'
I will scream!

Don't know how some of those kids are going to feel when they have to go out into the real world a get a proper job.

Sorry, no sympathy for them what so ever. No one is forcing them to do it. If they don't like it, they can get a job in Asda and be like most other people.

I do some of those, ummmm, but thankfully without the spotlight :-)
LOL, so their not doing it in the hope of finding fame and fortune then.
Could you imagine having to do it daily?.....gosh...what a complete nightmare.

I have a mini panic attack when a family member get the camera out :-)
Not all Tony...some are musicians who want to make good music.

Some seek fame and fortune but didn't realise how much work was involved until they started working their arses off. The fortune might be one of the things that made them persevere :-)
Going back to hospitals. You can tell the ones who love their jobs they go out of their way for everyone they come into contact with. The ones that don't want to be there pass the buck by saying something like "I'll get back to you" but they never do.
My point exactly, jeza.

Yes, Jez, same with care homes. It's a vocation for some, just a job for others.

Couldn't have put it better my self umm. Mic cannot feed himsef he needs help. There is one young woman (when on duty) does help him all the time. Others leave his meals and drinks on his bedside table. I had a really big go about it last week and offered to be there to do it myself. No No they said it's not necessary. We have staff for that. Yes says I, then please use them and ensure they do it. Okay sorry for the moan.
I don't think they're looking for sympathy or saying they don't like it? Not everyone dislikes working hard, so it's not necessarily a negative. I find it odd that there's resentment when people try something different.
Please feel free to have a moan whenever you like Jeza. How are things with Mic, has there been any improvement. You must be at your wits end. Take care of yourself.
Not good Leah. I live in hope.
Pixie - don't mind people doing new things or going out on a limb (did it myself, all went to Sugar it we just got on with it), just can't be doing with people moaning about it. They are the fortunate ones on these reality shows and should be making the most of it, not bloody blubbing about it.
I get frustrated with people moaning, to be honest. But i think they have as much right, or more, to moan, as, say someone who works in Asda. More pressure. I just doubt it's the "given everything on a plate" situation that silliemillie is implying. I also think, these people that hate their jobs should change them and not whinge. What's the difference?
I`m sure they have worked hard - for a week or two. Some aspiring musicians spend literally years traipsing up and down the country in old vans to get to gigs (whilst holding down jobs) all the while hoping for that big break. Winning a talent contest is actually just about the easiest way to make it to fame and fortune.
If that was true, every musician would just win it, wouldn't they?
