18 Down, Gnat could you please confirm this as MIDGE, the problem is that the definition of midge is a small flying insect without a bite but surely gnats are biting insects. Thanks

I'm sorry this question should have been in the crossword section but I was checking an answer in motoring and put my question here by mistake.

No that is the Midget of the MG brand.
The Midge is a kit car based on a Herald Chassis with NO MG connections.
