I recommend MoonPig. I've had some lovely flowers and small gifts from my daughter through them. They have a lovely selection and I've just arranged for flowers and chocolates to be sent to my aunt who has recently moved house.

Personally ai would Google a local florist, ring them up and talk about what you want. That way you get a personal offering and a local delivery charge.
Find a florist the area you want delivery, phone and ask if they do telephone orders and pay by card. Have done this several times and got a better display as they only charge for the local delivery.
For the avoidance of doubt I was referring to a florist local to the intended recipient.
As above .I've had disapointing results from Interflora and they are very expensive .
I recently sent some to a friend and just rang a local shop in her area and paid with my card over the phone .Much cheaper .She said they were lovely :)

Good idea.....never thought of that! Thanks everyone
I recommend MoonPig.

Forgot to add there is no delivery charge and you can add a free personalised Moonpig card of your choice.
I used to get a lovely bouquet from my mum through M&S every year.
I wouldn't do Interflora - a long time ago the bouquet had nearly-dead flowers in it - they did replace it, but the memory lingers. I like the local florist idea.
ive had cards and flowers from moonpig and was not disappointed.
I've had beautiful flowers via Interflora and they use a florist near to you.
Hate to say it but the only one to really trust is M&S. Never had a problem with quality nor delivery in all the time we've used them. That's quite a number of years now.
Find a local florist, specify exactly what you want, don't be fobbed off with "How much do you want to spend?", a recipe for being overcharged if ever there was one. If the order is to include 'exotics', ask how much a stem they are; one florist told me they didn't know (!) as if they order stems like that and don't know how much they pay for them.

And tell them, truthfully or not, you'll be visiting the recipient and will see the flowers; that is a check on the florist. You know what you paid for, the recipient doesn't

It's not easy to recommend any local flower company. But you can find on google local, here you get information local companies there area. You also read their work review there and choose best.
