Not sure where to post this question but here goes. I have to provide certified copies of my birth certificate and divorce papers for my pension How do I go about getting them? Thanks in advance.

If you have the originals take photo copies and get a solicitor, barrister or Justice of the Peace to sign them to the effect that they have verified them as true copies of the originals. (You will have to allow the person providing the certification to see the originals and copies side by side).

Apply to the registration district that issued it.

an accountant or other professional can alos certify them and will need to have the correct wording!

If you have them can you not let the pension trustees take copies?.
My manager took a copy of my wife's death certificate.
