Any Murray is so boring, he should be a formula one driver.

Selective quoting. "So good". He's number 2 in the world at the moment, and perhaps the third best. Why must we denigrate one of our most successful sportsmen?
Jim, because he doesn't smile enough after playing a tennis match.
And?

Yes.....why can't he smile more like that nice (but not quite as successful) Timmy Henman?

:o)
if you had readhe itervie with tim henman you would know it was takenout of context by our wonderful !!!!!!!! press

Tim was always pleasant even in defeat, Andy must be the most boring sportsman going!
Would you prefer your sportsmen/women to be pleasant OR successful?
He's also one of the most successful -- and at least while he's playing he isn't boring. Still, I watch him for tennis and not for his brave smile after another defeat. Which is good, since he doesn't lose that often. What a shame that I'll miss that smile ... but I get a winning British sportsman instead for a change! What's not to like?
How can you say he's boring? Do you know him off the tennis court?
Oi ! Lay off my boy !!!! He's a great lad he's quiet, focused and reserved...doesn't wear his heart on his sleeve, is not given to ostentatious shows of emotion....does much for charity, loves his mum, girl and dogs, and he is very highly regarded by everyone in dunblane...and anyone that knows or has met him !....including me !
....and not only does he do all that he's much better at tennis than Des O'Connor too.

He's a better singer than Des O'Connor..............
what.......... an athlete more interested in his sport than the media ?
a great tennis player, i didn't watch the programme, i prefer to let the racquet doing the talking.
What I love about Murray is that he doesn't pander to the people who think that just because he's a famous sportsperson he should therefore also try to be a "celebrity" with all the attendant guff, false grins, appearances on "I'm a Ballroom Dancer, Get me out of here" or whatever it's called.
I did watch it and it really revealed that he is driven, intense, dedicated and a totally normal nice guy, ....fer a scot lol
he isn't a celeb, but an excellent tennis player, far better than the smiley Tim Henman. I wish him luck for Wimbledon...
